Globally, 'Jailer 2' continued its strong performance, with its worldwide gross collection escalating to Rs 628.05 crore. Overseas markets added Rs 5.00 crore on Friday, bringing the international gross collection to Rs 219.50 crore. The film, which began its theatrical run on Thursday, October 15, shows a continued trend of declining daily collections in its second week.
The movie features Rajinikanth as a retired jailer who goes undercover to combat an idol-smuggling network. The ensemble cast includes S.J. Suryah, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff, with a special cameo by Hrithik Roshan.
