Jada Pinkett Smith is being sued for $3 million by a former close associate, Bilaal Salaam, who alleges she physically threatened him in 2021. Salaam claims Pinkett Smith confronted him at a birthday celebration, accompanied by her entourage, and verbally threatened him, stating he would "end up missing or catch a bullet" if he continued to "tell her business." He also alleges she demanded he sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Following the alleged confrontation, Salaam claims he was subjected to a retaliatory campaign after refusing to participate in "crisis management" related to the Academy Awards incident. He asserts that threats escalated when it became known he was writing a "whistleblower memoir" about his time with the Smiths, especially after a viral interview where he alleged witnessing a sexual act involving Will Smith and Duane Martin.
