Actor Jacob Young, known for his role as Lucky Spencer on General Hospital, has disclosed a hidden seven-year addiction to opioids. He shared his experience on the Imperfectly Perfect podcast, detailing how a difficult childhood and prior substance use contributed to his dependency.

Young revealed that his struggles began with issues stemming from his parents' divorce and the later loss of his stepmother. After experimenting with weed and alcohol, he turned to opioids to numb emotional pain, successfully masking his addiction from his wife, Christen Steward, and on set for years.
