Summary

- The radio star recently exited her $100 million KIIS FM contract.

Radio personality Jackie O Henderson has reportedly decided not to attend the upcoming 'Her Best Life Retreat' in Sydney, an event that will feature Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, as its keynote speaker. Henderson's manager and business partner, Gemma O'Neill, revealed that Henderson's absence is intended to allow O'Neill to step into the spotlight herself. This decision comes as Henderson navigates a period of professional transition.
The retreat, scheduled for April 17-19 at the InterContinental Hotel in Coogee Beach, is organized by Besties, an events company co-founded by O'Neill and Henderson. The three-day event aims to focus on connection, wellbeing, and personal development for approximately 300 women, with VIP tickets priced at $3,199. This event marks a significant new venture for O'Neill.
Henderson's choice to step aside from the spotlight at this event coincides with the recent termination of her substantial $100 million contract with KIIS FM. She had eight years and $88 million remaining on the deal, which paid her $10 million annually. The future of her radio career remains uncertain following the conclusion of 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show' and the fallout from her public dispute with former co-host Kyle Sandilands.
Despite her decision to skip the retreat, Henderson expressed support for O'Neill's endeavor on social media, wishing her well. O'Neill explained that Henderson's encouragement was crucial for her to overcome reservations about hosting such a prominent event, especially given her private nature. The event anticipates significant ticket revenue, with activities including a gala dinner with Meghan Markle and various wellness workshops.
