Chan's character is paired with a technologically advanced spy dog, embarking on an action-packed pursuit across continents. The film's CG animal designs are by contemporary artist Li Erpeng.
Production secured filming access at prestigious international landmarks, including France's Palace of Versailles and the National Museum of Qatar. Notably, a scene scan was completed inside Versailles' Hall of Mirrors.
This project marks a unique cultural and technological exchange, blending European heritage with Chinese filmmaking. "Pawfect Agents" is envisioned as a larger IP franchise, with potential extensions into merchandise and other media.
The film is targeted for a worldwide theatrical release in summer 2027. Cappu Films is handling international sales for the project.
