He elaborated that he personally finds it tedious to write about his own life experiences, even significant ones. Instead, White prefers to transform difficult personal events into music by creating fictional characters to embody these experiences.

White believes this technique allows him to gain self-understanding by stepping into "somebody else's shoes." This contrasts with Swift's well-documented history of drawing inspiration for her songs from her public relationships.

Swift is currently reported to be in a relationship with Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
