This was reportedly in response to Sharon taking over the management of Ozzy's solo career after his departure from Black Sabbath in the late 1970s, leading to decades of estrangement between Sharon and her father.
Furthermore, Jack revealed that his mother had shielded him from the reality of Arden's death until he was nearly 18 years old. The two eventually reconciled in 2002 after Arden was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, though he passed away at age 81 in 2007.
