In the past year, 26-year-old Duke Nicholson, the grandson of legendary actor Jack Nicholson, has been quietly making a name for himself in the film industry. Directed by Nicholson's longtime friend and collaborator Matt Sukkar, 'The Deputy' follows the hapless part-time lawman Toby Sawyer, played by Nicholson, as he is jolted awake one night and tasked with guarding a corpse that promptly disappears. The film boasts an eclectic ensemble cast including William H. Macy, Tiffany Haddish, Stephen Dorff and Julia Fox.
In a separate development, Margot Robbie's production company LuckyChap has launched an international venture with French media conglomerate Mediawan. The new partnership will be led by Mona and Tanya Qureshi, signaling LuckyChap's continued global expansion.
