Jack Johnson's Epic Hollywood Bowl Homecoming

Jack Johnson recently delivered a nostalgic performance during his homecoming weekend at the Hollywood Bowl, marking the final shows of his North American tour. The singer-songwriter treated a sold-out crowd to a two-hour set of his greatest hits. Accompanied by his seasoned band, Johnson performed fan favorites with a backdrop of surf footage and personal videos.

Surprise guests Ben Harper and Kelly Slater joined Johnson on stage, adding special moments to the concert. Opener Hermanos Gutiérrez, a Latin instrumental duo, set the mood with their soulful sound and also collaborated with Johnson on songs from his documentary SURFILMUSIC. The intimate documentary SURFILMUSIC, directed by Emmett Malloy, chronicles Johnson's journey from surfer to musician and filmmaker. The film premiered on March 13, 2026, at SXSW and is now screening in select theaters nationwide.
