The annual Ivors ceremony, celebrating U.K. music industry songwriters, will be held in London on May 21 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel. Presented by The Ivors Academy, the awards recognize excellence judged by fellow songwriters and composers.
This year, Olivia Dean leads with nominations for her album 'The Art of Loving' and single 'Man I Need.' Wolf Alice, Jacob Alon, Self Esteem, and Kae Tempest also secured multiple nominations across various categories. The best album and best contemporary song categories feature a diverse range of acclaimed artists.
Notably, 61 British and Irish songwriters are recognized, with 34 appearing for the first time. The Ivors, first awarded in 1956, have a storied history of honoring music legends. Previous recipients include Paul McCartney, Adele, and David Bowie, with U2 receiving the Academy Fellowship in 2025. The Ivors will also present Gift of the Academy prizes on the night.
