Isla Fisher Embraces New Chapter After Divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen

In the two years since her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen, 54, Isla Fisher has been embracing a fresh start. The 49-year-old actress recently opened up about the emotional journey of establishing her first home as a single woman, after finalizing her divorce from the Borat star in June 2023.

Fisher revealed that the process of decorating her new London abode was a bittersweet experience. "When it all arrived, I did have a bit of a cry because this was my first time as a single woman, being in a home of my own," she told Elle Decoration. However, the Confessions of a Shopaholic star is finding joy in this new chapter, saying, "I'm enjoying this new version of my life."

The former couple, who were married for 13 years, share three children together, and Fisher is committed to co-parenting them. She is also refocusing on her own career, which she had previously put on the backburner to prioritize her family. "I'm really excited for the next chapter," Fisher said in a recent interview. "I'm refocusing on my career because previously I was very much focused on my kids, which I still am, obviously, because [they're] my true love. But I'm enjoying tackling work again."

Despite the challenges of adapting to life as a single woman, Fisher remains optimistic. "Trying to create a new life from a grassroots level, at least emotionally, has been challenging, but deeply rewarding," she shared. The actress has found solace in simple pleasures, like relaxing in the bath with a Netflix show, as she navigates this transition.
