Isha Ambani recently attended a Vogue Met Gala pre-party, captivating attendees with a custom-designed bandage dress that served as a tribute to Indian craftsmanship. This neo-traditional outfit was a collaboration between Manish Malhotra and Swadesh, a Reliance Retail initiative promoting Indian heritage.

The strapless ensemble uniquely featured 26 distinct borders representing various regions of India, aligning with the "Costume Art" theme. It incorporated diverse artisanal techniques such as zari work, Parsi Gara embroidery, and Kanjeevaram silk weaves, spanning the country's north, south, east, and west.

Crafting this dress required over 450 hours of dedicated work from skilled artisans, underscoring a commitment to celebrating India's textile legacy. Stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania complemented Ambani's look with striking jewelry from Outhouse Jewellery and a bold makeup style, including a smokey eye.
