Salaud Morisset, a sales company based in Paris and Berlin, has finalized deals in France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Benelux, Bulgaria, and Greece, with additional offers pending for the UK, Germany, and Central Europe. Brazil has also secured distribution for the film.
'A Bit of Light' features Misagh Zareh as a doctor in contemporary Iran. His life takes a downward turn after being arrested by the regime and having his medical practice shut down. Facing despair, he decides to spend his final day visiting family before ending his life.
This film marks Asgari's follow-up to 'Divine Comedy,' which premiered at Venice last year. Distributors have expressed strong interest, noting the film's resonance with current events and a sense of urgency to bring it to audiences.
