Intrinsic Value Films Announces Stephen King Adaptation and Gene Wilder Biopic

Intrinsic Value Films is making a strong showing at the upcoming American Film Market, with a slate of projects that includes a Stephen King adaptation and a biopic about the legendary actor Gene Wilder.

The Stephen King adaptation, titled "Mister Yummy," is described as a "haunting tale" that follows a man confronting his own mortality, where death lurks around every corner and regret becomes a constant companion. The screenplay for this project is written by Troy Blake, who is also producing alongside Thomas Mahoney.

In addition to the Stephen King adaptation, Intrinsic Value Films is also bringing a biopic about the life of Gene Wilder to the market. Titled simply "Gene," the film explores the "remarkable life and inner world of the beloved actor," known for his iconic roles in films like "The Producers," "Blazing Saddles," and "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory." The screenplay for this project is written by Jeremy Roth, and the Gene Wilder Estate is represented by David Shapira & Associates.

Intrinsic Value is also showcasing the story of the legendary American toy company Wham-O, the creators of the Frisbee, Hula Hoop, Slip 'N Slide, and Hacky Sack. The project, titled "The Story of Wham-O," aims to capture the humor, heart, and entrepreneurial spirit that turned these simple ideas into nationwide phenomena.
