The artistic depth of the 1994 film "Interview with the Vampire" is being celebrated with its forthcoming 4K UHD release. Director Neil Jordan and production designer Dante Ferretti have unveiled the meticulous artistry behind the film's stunning visuals. Ferretti aimed to create a world that felt layered and lived-in, having absorbed centuries of life and death. Jordan envisioned a film that combined the sumptuousness of a period piece with the authenticity of a vampire narrative. The film, which starred Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, was a critical and commercial success, earning two Oscar nominations.
Kirsten Dunst, who played a young vampire, recently shared her experiences working with Pitt and Cruise, recalling them as treating her like a "little sister." The 4K UHD version of "Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles" will be available on Tuesday, September 22.
