According to a recent report from Deadline, actor Ken Leung has secured a new role opposite Lucy Liu in the Peacock crime drama "Superfakes." Leung, who currently stars as investment banker Eric Tao on HBO's "Industry," will play the husband of Liu's character, a small-time Chinatown luxury counterfeit dealer who ventures into a dangerous black-market underworld to support her family's suburban lifestyle.
Notably, Leung's new role on "Superfakes" will not interfere with his ongoing work on "Industry," as production on the HBO series' fourth season wrapped up in August.
In other casting news, the CBS series "Elsbeth" has added several notable guest stars, including Jaime Pressly ("Mom") as a former model and current dive bar bartender, Andrew Rannells ("Girls") as a former ballet dancer eyeing a starring role for his daughter, and Lindsey Normington ("Hacks") as a pop star seeking to turn a convent into a recording studio.
