Ben Platt, Russell Tovey Join Industry's Last Season

The critically acclaimed series "Industry," a co-production between HBO and the BBC, is currently filming its fifth and final season in the U.K. This concluding chapter is set to feature new and notable cast members, including Ben Platt and Russell Tovey.

Ben Platt, known for his roles in "The Beauty" and "Dear Evan Hansen," will guest star as Matt Crenshaw, a venture capitalist with early investments in a wellness tech company. This role suggests potential interactions with characters involved in the same industry, such as those played by Zosia Mamet and Dianna Agron.

Russell Tovey, recognized for "Years and Years" and "Feud: Capote vs. the Swans," joins as Declan P. Davis, an aide to the left-wing politician Nikesh Shah, portrayed by Bally Gill. The production also welcomes Cary Elwes, Sam Riley, Jessica Brown Findlay, Luke Manley, and Eduard Poliakov to its roster.

Season four of "Industry" concluded with significant shifts in the lives of its main characters, both professionally and personally. The series, created and directed by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, is executive produced by a team including Jane Tranter and Kathleen McCaffrey.
