- Explores a love triangle and the complexities of friendship vs. romance

In a recent development, the independent romantic drama 'Falling' has secured major distribution deals with sales partners The Exchange and Voltage Pictures. The film, which was shot last year in the UK and Malta, is set to be represented internationally by Brian O'Shea of The Exchange, while UTA Independent Film Group will handle the domestic distribution.
'Falling' boasts an impressive cast, including rising stars KJ Apa ('Riverdale'), Isabel May ('Scream 7'), Archie Renaux ('Alien: Romulus'), and Emma Laird ('Mayor of Kingstown'). The film follows the story of Johnny, a hopeless romantic and loyal friend, who faces an agonizing dilemma when he falls for Jillian, the enchanting girlfriend of his cynical best friend, Jack. As they navigate the complexities of betrayal and the pursuit of dreams, they must confront the core question: what's more important, friendship or love?
The project was funded by Gulfstream Pictures, which recently collaborated with Renaux on the Amazon romantic comedy 'Upgraded'. The film was written and directed by the Krisel brothers, James and Colin, and produced by a team that includes Mike Karz, Bill Bindley, Piers Tempest, Matt Luber, and Lena Roklin. Dakota Rosen and Tom Salentine serve as executive producers.
