The newcomers include Charlie Plummer, Ruby Rose Turner, Sky Katz, Richie Merritt, Brandon Severs, and vocalist Lil Lotus, who is making his acting debut. The film, which is currently shooting in Nevada, follows two fathers from vastly different worlds who form an unlikely bond while searching for a runaway daughter in Reno.
Katheryn Winnick and Gina Torres also star in the project, which Avildsen has been developing for some time. With the additional cast members now on board, the director is expected to wrap production on the dark comedy in the coming weeks, setting the stage for its anticipated release in the near future.
