A viral Indian meme audio, "Meri maa ka birthday hai," has resurfaced in an unexpected context, recently featuring in a birthday reel for global pop sensation Taylor Swift. This blend of internet meme culture and devoted pop fandom has sparked significant online amusement and discussion.
The Instagram reel, shared by influencer Simran Poonia on December 13 to mark Swift's birthday, chose a familiar meme sound over contemporary music. The audio, known for its use by politician Shehzad Poonawalla during a past argument, was cleverly repurposed to celebrate Swift.
The playful reuse of the audio in a pop culture setting, detached from its original context, created a shareable and entertaining piece of content. The surprising combination even garnered a reaction from Poonawalla himself, who commented "Khandan!" on the reel, highlighting the enduring nature of viral internet moments.
