Imran Khan Faces Mom's Playdate Hesitation

Actor Imran Khan recently detailed the unexpected difficulties he encounters as a single father. While sharing custody of his daughter Imara, Khan explained that arranging playdates for her has become a struggle. He observed that many mothers are reluctant to send their daughters to his home, seemingly due to discomfort with a single man being present.

Khan expressed his understanding of societal concerns regarding problematic men but found it heartbreaking to repeatedly tell his daughter that her friends could not visit. He contrasted this with how single mothers might receive more empathy. Khan also reflected on the restrictive version of manhood taught to men, which can hinder the expression of vulnerability and emotional support within male friendships.

Previously, Khan had shared that his daughter stays with him from Thursday to Sunday, and he manages her daily routines, including school runs and bedtime, valuing this time immensely. His separation from wife Avantika Malik occurred seven years prior to this conversation, following their marriage in 2011 and the birth of their daughter in 2014.
