Supernatural Romance Turns Terrifying in Immortal

Mariyappan Chinna's directorial debut, Immortal, has premiered on SonyLIV. This Tamil romantic horror-thriller features GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar. The movie establishes an intriguing supernatural premise, centering on Magi, who moves into a luxury apartment with a woman named Sindhu. Their relationship takes a terrifying turn when Magi discovers Sindhu is a supernatural being. The film's strengths include its engaging background score and cinematography. However, Immortal falters with its lack of quality CGI and overcrowded, rushed pacing. These issues make it difficult to connect with the characters and plot, leading to a predictable conclusion and an underwhelming climax.
