Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have reflected on a "weird night of TV" during the controversial finale of "I'm A Celebrity... South Africa." The episode saw winner Adam Thomas accused of abusive behavior by Jimmy Bullard, while David Haye suggested the show edited footage to make Thomas appear as a victim. This led to Sinitta and Gemma Collins walking off set.

Following the finale, Adam Thomas stated on his podcast that he felt "bullied" during his time on the show, regretting not confronting the behavior and expressing that it's unfair to dismiss such actions as "banter." He also discussed his feud with David Haye, who he claims "broke" him. Haye, in turn, alleged that Adam swore during an argument that wasn't aired, though Ant and Dec clarified they did not witness aggression during that specific exchange.
