He reportedly reasoned that the question's wording might have differed if the correct answer was a mare. This moment has led to online discussions about the question's phrasing and difficulty.

Beyond the game show, Sahu's background as an IIT Bombay alumnus pursuing civil services garnered significant attention. He had reportedly declined a campus placement offer of Rs 18 lakh to focus on his UPSC ambitions, highlighting his commitment to public service.
