In September 2025, the organizers of the Slide Away shoegaze music festival announced the lineup for their 2026 event. Chapterhouse, known for their acclaimed 1991 album "Whirlpool," will be performing their first shows in over 30 years. Hum, who have not played live in nearly seven years, will also take the stage, while Nothing will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their album "Tired of Tomorrow." Additional acts slated to perform at select dates include Swirlies, Ovlov, Cloakroom, and Loveliescrushing.
The Slide Away festival will kick off on May 15 and 16 in New York City, followed by a stop in Chicago on May 23 and then concluding in Los Angeles on May 29 and 30. Presale tickets are currently available on the event's website.
