Iconic 'Invincible' Character Cecil Stedman Joins 2026 Fighting Game

In the lead-up to the 2026 launch of "Invincible VS," a 3v3 tag fighting game based on the popular "Invincible" franchise, Skybound Entertainment has announced the addition of Cecil Stedman, a fan-favorite character from the comics and Amazon's TV adaptation. Cecil, often heard as a voice in the protagonist Mark Grayson's earpiece, will now enter the fight with specialized weapons and the ability to summon Reanimen for backup.

The game's developers have also revealed new details about the story mode, which will play out like an extended episode of the "Invincible" series, featuring all the announced playable characters and teasing the arrival of a brand-new character not yet seen in the Invincible Universe.

Separately, Netflix has unveiled a slate of party games that will be coming to the streaming service this holiday season. The lineup includes instantly recognizable titles like "LEGO Party!," "Pictionary: Game Night," "Boggle Party," "Tetris Time Warp," and a fresh take on the social deduction genre called "Party Crashers: Fool Your Friends." These games can be played on TV screens, with users' phones serving as their controllers.

Additionally, the popular battle royale game "Fortnite" is set to collaborate with singer Doja Cat as the "Mother of Thorns" for its "Fortnitemares 2025" in-game event, which will also feature new character collaborations with the likes of Wednesday Addams and Scooby-Doo.
