The 11th edition of the Apeejay Bangla Sahitya Utsob (ABSU), India's premier Bengali literary festival, is set to take place from November 7-9, 2025 at the century-old Oxford Bookstore in Kolkata. Curated by Oxford Bookstores, the three-day festival will bring together eminent voices from the world of Bengali literature, art, and culture to celebrate the essence of Bangaliana.
The festival, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has evolved into a dynamic platform that bridges the past, present, and future of Bangla literature through conversations, poetry readings, performances, and debates. This year's edition will feature a rich lineup of celebrated authors, poets, filmmakers, actors, journalists, researchers, academicians, musicians, and emerging voices who are redefining the contours of contemporary Bangla writing.
