Iconic 90s Telugu Stars Ramya Krishnan and Rajasekhar Reunite for Sports Drama

The Telugu film industry is abuzz with excitement as two of its most beloved stars, Ramya Krishnan and Rajasekhar, have reunited for the first time in nearly 20 years. The duo, known for their hit films like 'Allari Priyudu' and 'Balarama Krishnulu' in the 1990s, are now coming together to star in the Telugu remake of the Tamil sports drama 'Lubber Pandhu'.

Rajasekhar, who is also producing the film, has officially acquired the remake rights and has already begun shooting in Hyderabad. The original Tamil film, directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, received praise for its emotional storytelling and cricket-driven narrative. The Telugu version is being helmed by Ani IV Sasi, the son of legendary filmmaker IV Sasi.

Adding a personal touch, Rajasekhar's daughter will be playing his on-screen daughter in the film. Actor Viswadev Rachakonda, known for his work in '35 Chinna Katha Kaadu', also has a key role in the remake.
