U.S. ice dancers Caroline Green and Michael Parsons have chosen selections from the Broadway hit Hamilton for their 2026-27 season rhythm dance. The two-time U.S. medalists debuted their routine, set to "Ten Duel Commandments," "Your Obedient Servant," and "The Room Where It Happens," at Skate Canada.
Their performance earned them a score of 74.24 points, contributing to a third-place overall finish at the Grand Prix event. This innovative program blends modern figure skating with the historical narrative of Hamilton. Previously, Green and Parsons tested the routine at smaller events, the Denis Ten Memorial Challenge and the CS Nepela Memorial Trophy.
The Hamilton soundtrack continues its cultural impact, marked by a 10th-anniversary box set released in September 2026. The soundtrack itself has achieved diamond certification and won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. Green and Parsons are scheduled to compete next at the Finlandia Trophy in November.
