This innovative approach was conceived by local DJ Geoff Kirkwood, also known as Man Power, who has a global following.

Kirkwood's vision was to bring renowned DJs to a working men's club setting, an idea that has been enthusiastically embraced. He notes that club members see little difference between the DJ nights and other events, such as Elvis impersonator shows, highlighting the inclusive and fun-loving atmosphere cultivated.
