Ibero-American projects seek global spotlight

The Iberseries & Platino Industria's Co-Production and Financing Forum has established its inaugural selection committee, signaling a new phase for Ibero-American audiovisual projects. This committee, comprised of industry experts, will guide the selection of projects for the forum.

Over the past five years, the forum has demonstrated significant success, with approximately 20 feature and series projects securing financing, production, and distribution across Ibero-American territories. This track record underscores the forum's effectiveness in bringing projects to fruition.

This year's forum emphasizes genre diversity, featuring an eclectic mix including true stories, horror, comedy, dramas, and thrillers. Notable projects span various formats, from animated series like "Archipelago" to docu-series such as "Sign You Bastards!," reflecting a broad spectrum of creative and market appeal.

The Co-Production Forum is scheduled to occur from September 30 to October 1. Private one-to-one meetings for feature films are set for September 30, with series meetings scheduled for October 1, facilitating targeted networking and deal-making.
