Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy spoke at the Ramoji Excellence Awards 2025, where he shared the stage with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Reddy emphasized that Hyderabad should position itself as a future destination for Hollywood productions, building on its strong presence in Tollywood and growing appeal for Bollywood.
The chief minister noted that Hyderabad's film ecosystem has matured to a point where "coming to the city with a script and leaving with a finished film has become a reality." He proudly highlighted Telangana's defining landmarks, including the iconic Charminar, Golkonda, Hi-Tec City, and Ramoji Film City.
Praising Ramoji Rao's lifelong commitment to integrity and service to Telugu language and culture, Naidu said Rao's spirit continues to inspire. The Ramoji Excellence Awards 2025 honored individuals who embody excellence and impact across various fields, including rural development, service to humanity, art and culture, youth leadership, and science and technology.
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, who graced the occasion, called for collective responsibility in addressing social and regional challenges, urging everyone to "say no to drugs and stay united in the fight against narcotics, irrespective of region, language, or affiliation." He also noted the dynamic between the two Telugu states, where both continue to grow industrially while staying rooted in agriculture.
