The city of Hyderabad will be the venue for the 8th Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan National Festival of Music and Dance, scheduled for December 13th and 14th, 2025. This highly anticipated event aims to honor the legacy of the legendary Ustad through a vibrant display of Indian classical arts.
Across the two days, audiences will experience a rich tapestry of performances. The opening day features Odissi dance by Jagriti Chakraborty, a unique shehnai-santoor jugalbandi by Pt. Lokesh Anand and Pt. Bipul Kumar Ray, and Hindustani classical vocal renditions by Vidhushi Ivy Banerjee.
The second day promises an equally compelling lineup with Pt. Partha Bose, Sanjay Chakraborty, and the Benaras vocal duo Ritesh-Rajnish Mishra. The festival will conclude with an exquisite Indian classical dance presentation by Rituparna Sengupta, adding a grand finale to the celebrations.
