Exes Unite to Save Family in Korean Action-Comedy

Husbands In Action, a South Korean action-comedy, premiered on Netflix on June 19, 2026. The film centers on a narcotics detective, Choong-sik, and his ex-wife's current husband, a veterinarian named Min-seok. They are forced to collaborate when Choong-sik's ex-wife, Si-nae, and their daughter, Yeon-ju, are kidnapped.

The abduction is orchestrated by Hye-ran, who seeks leverage related to NABI, a valuable AI system worth approximately 100 billion won. Choong-sik and Min-seok's initial attempts to negotiate and rescue the captives are fraught with comedic tension due to their mutual animosity. However, facing imminent death, the two men finally unite as a team, shifting their dynamic from rivalry to partnership.

With newfound cooperation, Choong-sik and Min-seok, along with other rescued individuals, manage to apprehend Yong-gang. The film concludes with the two men demonstrating their evolved relationship, solidifying their roles as co-fathers to Yeon-ju while Choong-sik pursues a new relationship. A post-credits scene hints at a potential sequel involving Yong-gang's wife.
