- Film aims to parody biopic genre with 70s Italian cinema visual style.
- Project will debut at Fantasia International Film Festival's market.

Italian folk-rocker Generic Animal will lend his voice and musical talents to "Humpty: American Dream," a forthcoming biopic parody. Directors Maxwell Nalevansky and Carl Fry are producing the film through their company, Pleasure Cinemagroup.
The project is slated for an appearance at the Fantasia International Film Festival's Frontières Co-Production Market, scheduled for July 22-25 in Montreal. This market serves as a key venue for filmmakers to connect with potential financiers and partners, with the goal of raising significant funds for the film.
Producers have described the film as an original comedy that parodies the biopic genre while standing as its own epic narrative. Visually, the filmmakers are pulling inspiration from '70s fantasy and erotic Italian cinema. The production also promises appearances from familiar faces and comedians.
Generic Animal was discovered by Nalevansky through a YouTube series and has since been composing music for the film, translating lyrics into Italian. He will portray 'The Minstrel,' a character who will deliver expository narration, set the tone, and punctuate the story.
