Ibiza vacation unearths family secrets in new Hulu series

Hulu has commissioned "Heatwave," a new limited series set against the backdrop of Ibiza. The series is the brainchild of Anna Symon, known for her work on "Joan" and "The Essex Serpent."

"Heatwave" will violently expose the buried secrets of two families during what is meant to be a relaxing vacation. The narrative focuses on the intense conflicts of midlife, explored through two couples, Daisy and Andy, and Mac and Clare.

Their reunion after years apart is poised to trigger devastating consequences. The series is executive produced by Lucy Bedford, Kathleen McCaffrey, and Shannon Murphy, who is also directing.
