In a strong start for Hulu, the new legal drama "All's Fair" has emerged as the platform's biggest scripted series premiere in the past three years. The star-studded Ryan Murphy production debuted on November 4th and quickly made its mark, appearing among Luminate's Top 15 TV shows during its first week.
During the week of October 31st through November 6th, the first three episodes of "All's Fair" generated 2.61 million hours of viewing in the U.S. alone, placing it at #15 on Luminate's weekly TV rankings. This performance came close behind the third season of Netflix's "Monster" series, another Murphy offering, which clocked 2.65 million hours viewed.
While the Luminate data only provides insights into the U.S. market, the series has also found significant global success. According to Disney, "All's Fair" amassed 3.2 million views worldwide in its first three days of streaming, suggesting that the domestic audience accounts for roughly a third of the total viewership.
Despite the strong premiere, "All's Fair" faced stiff competition during its debut week, with Netflix titles like "The Witcher Season 4," "Nobody Wants This Season 2," and "Selling Sunset Season 9" occupying the top spots on Luminate's charts. Nevertheless, the legal drama's performance has been a promising start, and more insights into its long-term success are likely to emerge as additional third-party streaming reports are released in the coming weeks.
