A24 has unveiled the official trailer for "The Death of Robin Hood," a new thriller starring Hugh Jackman in the title role. The film presents a darker interpretation of the legendary outlaw, depicting him as a battleworn loner haunted by his past deeds.
In this reimagining, Robin Hood finds himself gravely injured and in the care of an enigmatic woman who offers him a path to redemption. The cast includes Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgard, Noah Jupe, and Murray Bartlett, with Michael Sarnoski directing.
Production took place in Northern Ireland. A24 acquired U.S. rights at Cannes in 2024, and the film is set for theatrical release later this year, promising a fresh perspective on the classic tale.
