Joey Morof has achieved significant online fame through his remarkable impersonations of actor Hugh Jackman. His videos, featuring renditions of Jackman's performances in films like 'Les Misérables' and 'The Greatest Showman,' have garnered millions of views and a substantial following, with close to 900,000 on TikTok and over 124,000 on Instagram.

Despite his viral success, Morof, 24, has yet to receive direct acknowledgment from the 57-year-old actor. He shared that a scheduling conflict prevented him from attending a pre-screening of Jackman's new movie, an event where he had prepared questions. However, Morof expresses optimism that a meeting or collaboration with Jackman will happen eventually.

The New York City native also reflected on the origins of his impression skills, noting that he began by mimicking his grandmother. His repertoire expanded over time to include characters like SpongeBob and Squidward. The Jackman impression specifically began as a casual endeavor among friends during his early college years, inspired by Jackman's roles in 'Les Misérables' and 'The Greatest Showman'.
