Love Island Star Faces Restraining Order Hearing
4 Apr
Summary
- Huda Mustafa's temporary restraining order hearing was postponed.
- The order was extended as Mustafa awaits legal counsel.
- Mustafa's boyfriend Louis Russell also had a custody request denied.

A temporary restraining order against Love Island personality Huda Mustafa remains in effect as she awaits a future court date. The hearing, originally scheduled for Friday, April 3, at the Los Angeles Superior Court, was pushed to Thursday, April 23. This postponement followed a request from the attorney representing Nicole Olivera, the ex-partner of Mustafa's current boyfriend, Louis Russell.
Olivera had filed the restraining order against Mustafa last month, alleging threats and harassment towards her and her son. The temporary order, initially set to expire on Friday, has now been extended until the continued hearing. Mustafa, 25, was not present in court, but Olivera attended. Mustafa has yet to appoint legal counsel for the case.
In related legal proceedings, Louis Russell filed an emergency court order on March 18 seeking joint legal custody of his son with Olivera. Russell also requested a parenting plan, accusing Olivera of obstructing his contact with their son and using him as a bargaining chip. A judge ultimately denied Russell's emergency request.
Mustafa and Russell are set to appear together in the upcoming YouTube reality series, Unwell Winter Games, premiering on Monday, April 6. The show features 16 public figures competing in various challenges.
