Amit Behl Praises Hrithik & Farhan's Humility in Lakshya

Actor Amit Behl recently spoke about the challenges faced by supporting actors when their scenes are edited out of films due to lead stars' insecurities. However, Behl highlighted the film 'Lakshya' as a notable exception, praising Hrithik Roshan and director Farhan Akhtar for their professionalism.

Behl recounted a specific scene in 'Lakshya' where he had to reprimand Hrithik Roshan. He shared that Roshan encouraged him to perform the action forcefully, even offering support by mentioning he was wearing a body pad. This demonstrated Roshan's dedication to making the scene impactful for the movie.

Remarkably, both Roshan and Akhtar were already established figures after 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' and 'Dil Chahta Hai,' respectively. Despite their stature, Behl stated that they retained all his scenes, a rarity in the industry. He contrasted this positive experience with past instances where his parts were often cut, emphasizing that today's stars are more cautious due to the film's overall success determining their stardom.

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, 'Lakshya' also featured Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan. The film was released on June 18, 2004.
