The 72-year-old radio personality is said to feel powerless as he awaits decisions regarding his future with Sirius XM. Despite having recently signed a new three-year contract for his main channel, Howard 100, there are concerns that his second channel, Howard 101, which features past interviews and clips, may be canceled entirely.

Sources indicate that Stern, though not ready to retire, finds the current situation difficult to accept. His wife, Beth Stern, is actively trying to provide support, but the stress emanating from Howard makes it a challenging task for her.

This period of uncertainty follows recent reports of Howard Stern having laid off approximately 50 employees earlier this year and being involved in an ongoing lawsuit with his former executive assistant.
