Amazon MGM Studios recently unveiled footage for their upcoming action comedy heist film, "How to Rob a Bank," during CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The movie centers on a group of criminals who have gained significant notoriety by broadcasting their bank robberies on YouTube, amassing 31 million subscribers.
Led by Nicholas Hoult, the crew adopts memorable personas, including elaborate animal masks, as they execute their heists. Pete Davidson's character emphasizes their mission to use stolen money for charitable purposes, humorously noting that "OnlyFans is not a charity."
Director David Leitch described the criminals as "regular people" fighting against systemic greed and corruption, likening them to modern-day Robin Hoods. The film, which also stars Zoë Kravitz and John C. Reilly, is penned by Mark Bianculli and set for a theatrical release on September 4.
