18 Feb
Summary
- Podcast 'How Long Gone' is expanding into a video series.
- The new series, 'How Long Gone Today', will feature studio conversations and interviews.
- The show will be available on YouTube, Spotify Video, and Apple platforms.

The podcast "How Long Gone," known for its content aimed at the "bi-coastal elite," has officially launched a digital video spinoff series titled "How Long Gone Today." This expansion into video comes after the hosts, Chris Black and Jason Stewart, successfully released a 2025 year-in-review special on YouTube late last year. The new series promises studio-based conversations, guest interviews, and musical performances.
Amplify Pictures, recognized for HBO's "100 Foot Wave," has partnered with Talkhouse, the distributor of the original podcast, to produce the series. The move to video has been a long-term goal for Black and Stewart, who signed with CAA in 2023. The series will be filmed in a Los Angeles studio and will be accessible on YouTube, Spotify Video, and soon on Apple.
"We could only resist the pivot to video for so long," stated Chris Black, highlighting the natural extension this represents for the audio podcast. Ian Wheeler, founder of Talkhouse, added that the series aims to introduce the hosts' presence to a wider audience beyond magazine pages. The series is executive produced by Black and Stewart alongside Ian Wheeler, Joe Lewis, Colin King Miller, Rachel Eggebeen, and Luke Esselen.
