Dragon Fire Returns: Season 3 Ignites June 21!

The eagerly awaited third season of 'House of the Dragon' is set to premiere on Sunday, June 21, at 9 p.m. ET. This new installment will run for eight episodes, with subsequent episodes airing weekly until the finale on August 9. The season is expected to cover significant events from the source material, including the Battle of the Gullet, and further escalate the Targaryen civil war.

Viewers will see the return of many beloved characters, with Emma D'Arcy reprising their role as Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen. The ensemble cast also includes Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, and Steve Toussaint. Newcomers Tommy Flanagan and Dan Fogler are among the additions to the lineup.

Further solidifying the series' longevity, 'House of the Dragon' has already been renewed for a fourth season, slated for a 2028 release. This renewal guarantees that the Targaryen conflict will continue to unfold for audiences across multiple additional chapters beyond the upcoming season, which streams on HBO MAX.
