Summary
- A new nearly two-foot tall Sentinel collectible is revealed.
- The large figure is priced at $330, a surprisingly low cost.
- Its lower cost is due to a vinyl construction, not dense material.
Hot Toys has revealed a new, imposing collectible figure of the Sentinel, standing nearly two feet tall. This towering robot is set to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. The figure captures the immense scale of the Sentinels, which are depicted as giant, destructive forces in the Marvel universe.
Despite its substantial size, the Sentinel collectible comes with a surprisingly accessible price tag of $330. This affordability is achieved through the use of vinyl material for its construction. While maintaining impressive exterior visuals, this differs from the denser materials typically found in traditional Hot Toys figures, making it more cost-effective.
Included with the Sentinel is a miniature Doctor Doom figure, approximately five inches tall, to accurately represent scale. The decision to use vinyl and a smaller Doom figure was made to keep the Sentinel within a manageable and more attainable size and price point, avoiding the impracticality of a full sixth-scale version.
