Horror Movie Fails: A Promising Premise Goes Wrong

A low-budget horror film, unfortunately, fails to deliver on its potentially engaging premise. The movie attempts to set up a scenario where a young woman lures six men to a country estate, trapping them in a deadly reality-TV-style game.

However, the execution falters significantly, never achieving the necessary suspension of disbelief. Instead of feeling thrilling or even deliberately outlandish, the film often resembles amateur student theatre. The plot struggles with a disjointed opening, attempting to incorporate elements of folk horror, torture porn, and classic mansion thrillers simultaneously.

Further detracting from the experience are the visible production limitations. Flimsy restraints and a general sense of cheapness contribute to a feeling of unconvincing danger, preventing viewers from becoming invested in the characters' plight.
