Hoodoo Gurus are celebrating 45 years since their formation with an extensive anniversary tour of Australia. Titled the 'Hoodoo Gurus Rewind Tour, All Killer, No Filler', the band will perform a selection of shows in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
The tour's unique concept focuses solely on songs released as singles. Frontman Dave Faulkner stated the band will exclusively play their hits, along with numerous lesser-known singles, ensuring a comprehensive run-through of their 42 released singles. This approach embraces their reputation as a 'singles band' and includes songs that initially struggled with radio play but later gained popularity.
Tickets for the Rewind Tour will be available to the general public starting Tuesday, June 23rd, at 1 p.m. local time. An earlier pre-sale for Frontier Members begins on Monday, June 22nd, at 12 p.m. local time. Ratcat and The Stems will join the band as special guests throughout the tour. The tour dates include performances in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne (as part of Live at the Gardens), and Brisbane.
