Honey Singh Alleges Music Label Harassment

Rapper Honey Singh has publicly accused an unnamed music label of causing him considerable distress and hindering his musical output. During an Instagram Live session, Singh described being "harassed" by the label, stating that their actions have significantly slowed his work. He expressed frustration, noting that without these issues, he could have released five songs within a month. The artist alluded to the label's arrogance, comparing it to Ravana's pride, and emphasized that his faith (Bholenath) is aware of the situation.

In the same session, Honey Singh also commented on the upcoming film Ramayana. He shared that he had seen the teaser and was particularly impressed with Yash's portrayal of Ravana, noting his commanding screen presence. Singh conveyed his deep emotional connection to the epic tale, expressing a fervent hope that the film remains true to the Ramayana he grew up with. Recalling childhood Ramleela performances, he stressed the importance of not offending anyone's sentiments with the movie's portrayal.

The film Ramayana's first part is slated for release on November 6, 2026, with the second installment expected around Diwali 2027. Recent announcements included an English-language trailer showcasing Yash's Ravana and Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, who battles to restore balance and protect his people before embarking on vanvaas with Sita (Sai Pallavi) and Lakshman (Ravie Dubey).
