The film sales arm of Mad Solutions, Mad World, has announced its acquisition of international sales rights for the Lebanese anthology "Home Bitter Home." This collection of short films, set to feature in the Rotterdam International Film Festival's Harbor Program in January, offers intimate portraits of five artists.
Spearheaded by director Georges Hachem, the anthology intricately links the personal struggles of these artists with the ongoing crises in their hometown of Beirut. Hachem describes the film as a reflection of the profound love for Lebanon intertwined with the persistent desire to escape its chaos for a more stable life.
